Review of the Year 2018
It’s been another eventful year for everyone here at Arronbrook!
Here we take a look back at a memorable 12 months...
January
We were delighted to kick off 2018 by doing business with the Loisirs family again – 20 years after first establishing links with the well-known holiday home trader in France.
February
Our ongoing relationship with Belgian dealer Caravan Centrum went from strength to strength after receiving a bumper order for the fabulous Flore model we make bespoke for their customers.
March
A £50,000 investment in a new edging machine proved to be money well spent as it began to save us time and improve the quality finish on our product portfolio.
April
Loyal Dutch customer Anita Weering paid us a welcome visit so we could show off our newest range of bespoke holiday homes ahead of important contract talks in Holland.
May
We were so busy with extra orders that we had to take on extra staff and director Steve Park also volunteered to spend time on the shop floor to help us cope with demand.
June
There may have been six months of the year left to go, but we managed to achieve the first sale for our new ‘2019’ Clipper model – a superb 30ft x 12ft holiday home which was still on the drawing board!
July
After a lot of effort and hard work, we were proud to unveil the new and exclusive ‘Luxi Home’ model we make for Bridlington Caravans at the Great Yorkshire Show.
August
Our carefully-crafted 2019 models became the centre of attention during a photoshoot to showcase the new range.
September
We were delighted to unveil two new models - the Opale and Scenic - at our Annual Show at Cottingham Parks, where we welcomed various European customers – including Hans from Rodeo Caravans in Belgium, the Bratthammer family from Norway, our friends from Caravan Centrum and Dutch importer Anita Weering.
October
All the hard work from our Annual Show paid off after we struck a deal with Europarcs in Holland to make a bumper order for the popular holiday destination.
November
Directors Steve Park and Paul Coombs embarked on a whistle-stop trip to Belgium, which helped to secure two sizeable deals for 2019 – and emphasised how important European exports are to our business.
December
Having secured an order for three stunning new Topaz models from Walden’s of Seasalter Caravan Park near Whitstable, we ended the year on a high – and we’re hopeful 2019 can prove to be just as successful.
